About Autism Aegis

The immediate objective of this project is to assess the accuracy of the most prominent information about Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and the reliability of its sources. The first of two underlying objectives is to aid in protecting people on the spectrum from misconceptions in the general public perceptions about ASD. The second is to aid in protecting those on the spectrum from inaccurate or discredited science, and pseudoscience about ASD that may lead to false hope, wasted resources, and even mistreatment.
